Terms of Use

Effective date: October 2, 2026

1. Using the site

By using Plain Timer you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The tools are free and are provided for personal and educational use.

2. No guarantee of accuracy or availability

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available". Timers run in a web page and depend on your device and browser. Browsers may pause pages, a device may sleep or lose power, sound may be blocked, and your device clock may be wrong. We do not guarantee that an alarm will sound, that a timer will be precise to a particular fraction of a second, or that the site will be available without interruption.

3. Not for safety critical or official use

Do not rely on this site for medical, safety critical, legal, financial or competitive timing decisions, or as the official clock for an examination or sporting event. Follow the rules and equipment required by the organizer. Cooking times and food guidance are approximate and not a substitute for food safety advice from health authorities.

4. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, including a missed alarm or an inaccurate time. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or copy it in bulk for commercial purposes without permission.

6. Advertising and third-party links

The site may show advertising and link to other websites. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices. See the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The text, design and code of this site belong to the operator. Third-party names mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to describe methods or services.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with its effective date. Questions: see the contact page.
